Well I worked on my two rally cars in preparation for this week's racing. Hopefully their lap times will drop sufficiently to be a real threat to the status quo
I also opened and did the following on each Mini for the Mini Challenge races we'll be doing:
Checked downforce. All cars were still very closely matched so needed no changes here.
Cleaned tyres.
Lubed motor shafts and rear axles.
Cleaned braids.
Washed bodies (they were very dusty).
Hopefully they'll all perform similarly and we'll have some very close races on Thursday. Here they are, ready to go:
That's pleasantly done and with the new FRC list "modus operandi" method of operations ...
• FRC - Thursday (night) Racing Events ... to be done every other week.
• Drivers - Annual Championship Points ... not being recorded.
• FRC - Saturday (afternoon/evening) Racing Events ... to be randomly organized.
• Drivers - Fastest Qualifying Lap Times ... still being recorded.
We've got to enjoy these events/classes (once every 6-8 weeks depending) more so now because they're going to take much longer (now every 12 -14 weeks depending) to come back around.
So for what its worth - Thank you for MC class maintenance and with RC class best of luck
A pleasant week to all , your rally cars look ready to go , thanks for the prep. on the minis, Arden will be up with the south team , we are hoping to bring up some guests on Thursday also ,so marshaling of those minis will be ok . I am still trying to sort out some suspension issues on my rally car , i would like to improve my lap times this year , bye Ramesh
