Anglewinder chassis/pod

Post by steveaca »

Hi Gordon,
there are a few classes for which the rules restrict the use of anglewinder chassis or anglewinder pods. What would be the verdict on a car whose chassis has provision for an anglewinder pod but has an inline pod fitted ?

I think the wording of the regulation could be changed to something like 'no anglewinder layout allowed' . In this case, the word 'layout' would refer to the type of running gear actually being used and not necessarily what the car's chassis is capable of using.

Steve, I've cleared this up in the regs.
