Well I wish Luke and the rest of the team all the very best this weekend. I particularly hope Luke is victorious in all his races and that he brings home the CMRC Group 2 championship.

Re: FINAL CMRC IN GUYANA THIS WEEKEND
I think they did very well, Luke qualified 2nd with time 38.37 and pole sitter got a 38.27 so out of 14 cars it was not bad as it was his first time on that track. I will share more on thur over a lite beverage see you all then.
Re: FINAL CMRC IN GUYANA THIS WEEKEND
Hello Ramesh and others,
Yes indeed and Congratulations to them all because I happened to read (pic included) big headlines "TT drivers win Caribbean circuit title" in the NEWSDAY Newspapers (Saturday Nov. 19th.) about Luke B. and other T&T drivers ending a drought of over 20 years with a stunning CMRC victory in 2016 ... Plus how the country's victory was made extra special as it was the 50th. anniversary since the first TT driver competed in Guyana last weekend.
For those of you who want to have a read of this newspaper - I kept it for the next slotcar race meeting

This is one of the earliest pictures I have of a Trini team in Guyana:
This is late '60s-early '70s. L to R: Sidney Manhin (Mini), Tim Meyer (Mini), Da Costa Jones (motorcyclist), Andrew Yee (MGB), Tom Miller (Cortina Mk II), Simon Kelshall (Lotus Anglia), Silbourne Clarke (Formula Vee), Ralph Tom (Lotus Super 7).
