I'm sure the pepper sauce will be appreciated, even without the chow. Too bad Arden and Boo cannot attend.

Hello Gordon,

Two things - first with the wedges to bake. Although I had know idea how the baking will be done, I should have mentioned I had no intention to use your kitchen becaue I remembered how things didnt go down to well when I did some frying of French fries there ...

Anyway - we good and just today I thought about this plan and getting wedges catered.

Sounding good?

Second - talked to Ramesh today (while driving - hands free if you wondered) and sort of understood he would like the racing to be done as group A and group B because of cars lap times. I did somewhat agree but thought about more afterwards and noticed you didnt have any thoughts towards my idea - which was to roll a dice or pull a card for whatever number of drivers with grid positions.

Isn't it a good method?

Luke,

I thought you needed to do the wedges in the kitchen. You mentioned getting them catered... is that OK with you?

Regarding the group A and B racing, I have no problem with this and I believe I discussed this with Ramesh at some point. We can qualify the cars and use this method to break the races into sub-groups A, B, etc. If we roll a dice then it comes back to racing as one group, mixing the fastest with the slowest and I believe that's the reason Ramesh prefers qualifying to have the cars in the races more closely matched.

Whichever method we agree on, we'll be moving to the next throttle in line after each race as per our IROC races.

Hi all,
I personally would prefer all the cars to race in one group . Having two groups, decided by qualifying times, would mean having different points for each group (as we have done in the past) and would mean that the drivers in Group B have no chance at the overall title. Having all the drivers in one group also assures each driver of six races. If we go the qualifying/2-group route and we have, say ten drivers, which would mean each group would have five drivers, would we still race six races per group or would it be five ? With one group, grid positions could be decided by card pull, dice roll or even qualifying (with or without a point awarded for pole).

Isn't that what its all about Gordon?

Plus with my line of work for the past 20 years - this same month ... I have met and gotten to know many caterers and Johann is getting the baking done (for me) free of charge. The only part that's not added to his offer ~ is cant deliver to maraval.

I will have to go collect (freshly baked) wedges around 4:00 pm myself :/

Thanks for organising the wedges Luke. Where are they to be collected?

Regarding how we do the racing tomorrow, I think that once we see the number of competitors we can decide/vote how we will do it.
