Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
Hi guys Gabe would be a regular with us so i will be setting up one of these for him, i would really like the others to come along for this new class. always keep on encouraging.them along bye Ram
Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
That's great Ram. I'm sure that once we get a few of the new guys on board, more will come.
Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
I guess its a bit disappointing GG but suppose in leaving room for this sort of discontent, makes room for other projects going forward.
Hopefully with this sort of feedback here - something may still happen setting up Novice 132 cars
BTW - Ramesh filling in that he is setting up one of these cars ...
Means he is the first person to be recognized for a Piranha 21K rpm motor from FRC and the Scalextric DPR plug-in chip I am sponsoring - correct is right

Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
Hi guys i would still like your kind offer to go to first timers, my comment was to let you know if new cars are coming out , we will be there also, and allow all assistance to go to all first timers. bye Ram
Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
Hello Ramesh and others,
Even though you (Ram) will be setting up one of these cars and mentioning all assistance go to any first timer - its regretful with time gone that no "new beginner" cars was even tested with any of these suggested racing components.
Here's a light reminder and sorry I somewhat have to mention:
Beginners "novice" Car: Scalextric C2810 high-impact "yellow" Lamborghini Gallardo.
This is all being done to encourage ... which I'm sure you (and others) will endorse

- • Digital Chip: Scalextric C8515 DPR.
• Motor: Slot.It 21.5K rpm. Note: *No Piranha 21.5K rpm motor available - yet.
• Gearing: Standard Plastic 36T spur and 11T brass pinion.
• Magnets: Car mustn't magnetically adhere to std. Scalextric track piece in an USD position and stacking allowed.
• Wheels: Front - standard / Rear - standard.
• Axles: Front - standard / Rear - standard.

Re: Novice "Own Car" class suggestion
Testing done Thursday 1st. October 2015 ... with the first Beginners "setup" Lambo Gallardo car for a possible FRC Novice Class.
Best Lap Times done by yours truly (Luke T.), Jon & Gordon were 6.5, 6.4 and 6.2 seconds respectively - but was also (tested again) lowered by Steve later on with a 6.0 seconds.
In retrospect the lap times done with this 132 car/set-up configuration for newbie drivers - is a driven one.
The only upset one could have with this type setup car - is the USD rule ... because one has to drive to win and not just X2B racing.
