Gordon, I have no problems with racing the number of laps you suggested but think that in the case of some classes such as MP, going from 5 races @ 30 laps (=150 laps) to 5 races @ 35 laps (=175 laps) there may be some attrition. I mention MP specifically as some cars in this class now are running 30k motors which means that a Scaley F1 chip is required. I'm not sure this chip can handle such jamming.

I've colour-coded everything by Class Group and revised the laps a little:
Based on our recent FC races, I feel that 20 laps is slightly too short so I've increased all IROC class races to 25 laps with the exception of the MC class, for which 20 laps per race seems adequate.

GR8 work done with this GG & nice idea with the colour-coded Class Groups.
Groups A, C & F are perfect but groups B, D & E - I have one - two questions each...
Here they are:
B. Why you have HS @ 25 laps & not 30 like the other two (VS, G5SC) classes?
D. How come RGT & SC are now 35 laps & not @ the normal 30 laps we/I are use to?
I agree with what you said about the IROC classes but the LS class can go the distance. To me its very enjoyable, exciting & quite fast with their 25K rpm motors...
E. Shouldnt LS stay @ the normal 30 laps and any particular reason why F1 went to a longer (35 laps) race?

Remember the objective:
"The idea with this whole exercise is to set the number of laps and races for each class grouping so that they total roughly the same amount of time (in this case 41-51 minutes of actual racing)."
Using the average winning lap time, I've tried to keep the total race times around the same by adjusting the laps per race for each class.

How silly of me... Maybe its because I wasnt looking at the bigger picture here and yes, I did forget about "time" the objective.
Thank you for the light reminder and now with this idea/exercise in plain sight ~ its obvious the new set of laps for the classes in question is excellent.
