Hello Ramesh,

How you going?

Gave you a phone call today (around 3pm) and no answer .... Understanding you could have been busy.

Anyway - had some time and here's some of the things (on the forum) I was going to talk about :-)

The Joseph last names (for Junior and Leslie) and my question was an obvious one and thank you for the answer plus time/church details.

The Guardian newspaper article today about Peter De Montburn plus company names like Rovex-Triang/Ernest Vieira ltd and BOAC was very interesting ... Even noticed the same Leslie Joseph name, you wrote about here and understand perfectly - his importance with the SCALEXTRIC drive in the Caribbean.

Also Jeffrey Sanguinette whose business place (Auto Center Rentals) isn't so far from where I work - even remembered having a business chat over the phone with this same person some months ago.

Now most of all - its hard to believe and sorry you have to leave home so early in the morning just to be on time for the funeral service at the St. Anthony's Church which from where I live - is only a couple minutes drive time. You would probably reach a good hour or so before 9:30 and suggest (Gordon/myself in conversation today) maybe you have breakfast at Adam's in Maraval ... If you decide to - make sure and get directions for rerouted early morning traffic coming out of Maraval.

All that said and now with me wishing to be present at Peter's funeral service - I am not sure (maybe till tomorrow) if I can make it. All because the brother-in law of my boss died last week Thursday and I believe that funeral is this Friday also. Which means he (the boss) will want me his most senior staff member to be in the office most of the day. I did mention to him - Peter's funeral Friday and he said we will see how it goes closer to the time.

I am hoping for the best situation and will confirm (here) by tomorrow.

Saved a phone call there Ram - hehe

Peter was introduced to Scalextric digital racing on his only visit to FRC for our 27th December, 2012 Christmas event. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures from that event to show (none were taken), however Luke sent me the pic below to post in memory of the man who did so much to promote and spread the wonderful world of Scalextric and by extension, slot car racing in Trinidad and Tobago.

It it an honour to have this picture on the FRC forum in recognition of Peter.
