Racing this Saturday 19th Feb (KB, CM, VSGT, VSP)

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

Having had to cancel the last racing event because of an electrical issue, FRC will be open from 2:00 PM this Saturday (19th February) for about 30 min of finishing off some track work, followed by practice, testing and racing of our new Group A classes - Kitbash (KB), Clubman (CM), Vintage Sports GT (VSGT) and Vintage Sports Prototype (VSP).

Here's the schedule:
  • About 30 minutes of minor track work, the biggest item being opening the Power Base to fix the fan noise.
  • 60 minutes of practice and testing.
  • Qualifying for first class, immediately followed by first race for this class. This is then repeated for each remaining scheduled class.
  • Additional races for each class as time allows.
You can see the class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Remember - we no longer race with traction magnets installed in the cars!

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

See you on the circuit...
Gordon

Will be there for sure.
Looking forward to this meeting very much.
Assuming we get through the track work within the estimated time, I think there will be enough time for al least two rounds of racing.
