BTCC minimum weight adjustment

Guys, please be aware that the BTCC class rules have been amended to show the new minimum weight requirement of 85gm (down from 90gm) for the VW and MG6 cars. This has been done as part of our ongoing efforts to equalize the four car types for the class. We had previously increased the minimum weight of the VW and MG from 80gm to 90gm and discontinued allowing ultra-light interiors for them, however this made them a bit too uncompetitive against the lighter Hondas and BMWs.

We'll continue making adjustments if necessary to ensure that the cars are evenly matched.

Sounds fair to me they were seriously down on speed and my honda was slower as well!!! So just goes to show how much can be achieved with a simple change We will try it and see for sure
