First event for 2019
Re: First event for 2019
If I had to choose, I'd go for the two races per class. This allows a little leeway if, for example, one has a problem with a car in the first race, some ground can be recovered in the second race if car fix is a simple one.
Re: First event for 2019
Here are some alternatives I've come up with by reducing the time to record race results and grid cars for second race (where applicable). I've done a separate schedule for Vintage Sports race night to accommodate separate races for VS GT and VS Prototype.
Re: First event for 2019
This looks fine to me.
Re: First event for 2019
Hi the second suggestion sounds good , but although the race time might be 15 m. this must also include crashes and marshaling . So instead of doing three 20 lap races we can do one 40 or 50 lap race based on the classes being run on that night. The amount of laps will be determined by how fast the classes are. Rally will not be affected.
Re: First event for 2019
I think we have to consider the race time based on number of laps and number of laps based on race time for each class to get more information for making a decision on the race night schedule. Here are two tables that can help with this:
Re: First event for 2019
Hi great stats, we can look at what works best, but what we have experienced is that in a 5 minute race we spend 15 actual minutes or more sometimes because of too many crashes , we will also have too look at that also. thanks
