A slot car modelled after history

During the 1971 Daytona 24 hours race, the Penske Racing Ferrari 512M driven by Mark Donahue "got hit by a Porsche 911 early Sunday morning causing massive damage to the body and suspension that took hours of fix and a lot of duct tape." That's putting it mildly. Here's the car during a pit stop looking rather thirdhand:
