Truly the car appears to be excellently made. It also looks like it is very durable. It is a shame that most cars for slot racing are not so rigidly constructed probably one of these days some one in Trinidad and Tobago could produce our own version of cars.We have the human resource and the technology here to accomplish this

Lovely car but where yu go put the chip sensor????
Re: Neat Vintage Sports Prototype cars
Good point. The guide flag is a bit too far back, leaving no room for it. Also, as all slot car tuners know, (Tip) you want the guide flag as far forward as possible while still being under the body and not ahead of it.O'Brie wrote:Lovely car but where yu go put the chip sensor????

Would take some modification but the guide could be moved forward with aa guide bracket and leave room for the sensor humm?
Re: Neat Vintage Sports Prototype cars
Maybe a SureChange guide blade ?
Re: Neat Vintage Sports Prototype cars
I've always wanted to try one of those. I actually have a very early version, but I think it isn't deep enough to use the full depth of the slot and may cause unnecessary de-sloting.steveaca wrote:Maybe a SureChange guide blade ?

I've never actually seen one but I'm sure some creative person could jury-rig a regular guide blade and get similar results.
