Scalextric 2017 Competition ...

Post by Luke »

Hello fellas,

Don't know if any of you'll know about the Scalextric 2017 Competition ~ you can go on their website now and see what I'm referring to.
  • Enter (now) for your chance to WIN the entire Scalextric 60th Anniversary Collection - worth over £279!
I did already and the more North, Central and South guys (or girls) that enter - the greater the chance one of us in the Caribbean could win ..!

Check it out and my answer was the - The Maserati 250F model.

You won't be disappointed in the least bit Gordon but rather surprised to see how you can win (not one 1 but) as much as 7 Scalextric cars all in one shot ..!

Some encouragement for others checking out 8-)

Has to be the Maserati. The first two cars released by Scalextric in 1957 were a Ferrari and a Maserati.

Correct is right Gordon and being the first models made by Scalextric ...

The Ferrari 375 and the Maserati 250F were metal bodied Grand Prix slotcars.

Wondering now and of all our slotcar stories - if any of us ever had the experience/pleasure of racing (or even seeing) sometime in life any metal bodied model cars ..?

I for one 1 haven't with my 40+ years of 1/32 slotcars.

Sorry but I should have really mentioned:
  • Remembering the Scalextric competition deadline is (tomorrow) Sunday 17th. December 2017 ... at 8:00PM :?

Because the U.K. is approximately four 4 hours ahead of T&T time :|
