Luke

Sorry to hear you will not be there.
You are missed at FRC events.

Kind of you Arden but my presence at home for as much as possible is a vital roll for parents (mostly Mom's) well being ... Their other children (my brother and 2 sisters) play very important rolls as well.

Anyway that said (and hope I wasn't too sensitive as you would say - hehe) to understand a bit more why I will not be attending any racing events for the balance of 2017 ...

Other than that we all cool,

Looking forward to 7th. See you guys there. Luke cant you get a family member to stand in for you for the 3 to 4 hours? I know how hard it is with aging perents but we need to “Breathe” a little as well in between caring for them. Just a thought :)

I appreciate your concern O'Brie and that you enjoy my company racing slot-cars.

However my household isn't such a big number of persons again ... and the picture (situation at home) is bigger than you think.

It's just my father, mother, brother and me ... My sisters live abroad with their families and at the last FRC (RD243) event that I showed up for - was because of your same suggestion. One of my sisters was visiting that same week and asked how come I'm not going to race Thursday night ... and as you may know the rest is history.

My second sister suppose to be visiting sometime soon but she herself is helping to deal with her mother in law (abroad) who is also not 100% and from what I was told ~ definitely in her last hours. Plus if you don't mind me mentioning (turning things up a bit) my 2 sisters are married to 2 brothers - so you have an even bigger idea.

There are some other recent issues to deal with here at home and would spare you the details. So for now - the only time I really have to "Breathe" is when I go to the bathroom and my bed ...

Thanks all the same for your encouragement and enjoy your 1/32 racing :) 8-)

Me again O'Brie and had to (somewhat) update previous post because ...

I found out sister's mother in law passed away a couple hours ago ... God rest her Soul.

 Hope Gordon doesn't mind this off the topic news and O'Brie you must be thinking now - how you should have left well alone.

Don't worry boss (Gordon) I'm ending off this topic here.

Sorry to hear about your sister's mother-in-law Luke. All the best with handling your own issues at home.

Welcome Back Ramesh and you're probably reminiscing about a well deserved holiday abroad ...

On the other hand though - sorry you had to read (all this reading) how I won't be attending any racing events due to personal circumstances for the balance of the year.

However we can still keep in touch for the Christmas 2017 Season 8-)

AOK Steve and thanks,

Talked to sisters and strangely they both sound happy ...

Meaning their husband's mother isn't ill (dying) anymore and she is now in a better place with the Lord.

Ask for me - recently a friend asked me to see a movie (Happy Death Day) with her :-)

Although still to plan what day to see ~ must say that's what I would call a breather ;-)

Enjoy your 1/32 racing,

Luke

Hi Gordon,
Do you think at the last race meeting this year, we could get confirmation of the proposed rule changes for F1 and Vintage Sport 60-75 (GT class) ? If we confirm what the changes for these classes are , we could then know if to include any necessary bits in our Santa letters.
