FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (7th September) for our Group C classes - Modified Production (MP), Restricted GT (RGT), Restricted LMP (RLMP).
We plan to start at 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
- Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
- 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes). Cars will be moved to the parc fermé location after they are inspected and comply with the requirements.
- Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
- Post-race Technical Inspection (if required).
- After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
- Modified Production - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; no American muscle/pony cars allowed; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); magnet location restriction if motor exceeds 20,000 RPM; USD rule.
- Restricted GT - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); USD rule.
- Restricted LMP - Motors up to 25,000 RPM; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); USD rule.
Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.
