Hello Ramesh,

Just like FRC ... know lots have to be put in place for (this Sunday BBQ) SSC events and wondered if you have any plans for a Rally Car class anytime soon ..?

How about putting to use those 4 Rally (Renault, Mitsubishi, Ford & Subaru) Cars - maybe used as an OPENING event ..:?:

If not able to be done at this event ... I'm sure you will consider for next racing occasion ..?

Some early AM (morning) thoughts :-)

A GR8 time ... for all at the SSC (BBQ) racing event yesterday - Sunday 20th. - and for me, it all happened in a time span of 12 hours ...

I left home around 12 noon and was back home by 12 midnight.
  • 12:00 pm - Petit Valley
    01:00 pm - Valsayn
    01:30 pm - Chaguanas
    02:00 pm - Palmyra
    12:00 am - Petit Valley
Now - knew I had to make a few stops on the way but still reached 2 hours ahead of the 4:00 pm racing time. So - I decided to give Ramesh a call just before reaching his gateway in Palmyra - thinking I might have been very early ...

Anyway - when he answered his phone ... He was very glad I reached (the first person) that early because I ended up helping him with activities (tables, chairs, drinks cooler and track to name a few) setting up the place.

Long story short - there were at least 20 to 25 persons present and it was decided (by Ramesh and Arden) we all have the well prepped BBQ meal before the racing competition. A prayer was said blessing the food and persons were comfortably seated having a meal before the racing started around 8:30 pm - with Stock SW & SC classes.

The scheduled F1 class wasn't raced because it was already a late (10:45 pm) time for the finals of SlotIt Challenge. Had a total of 11 drivers in qualifying and it came down to ~ Rashad, Luke B. Tony and Marlon

I didn't stay for the result because was all spent and had to leave.

All in all - an enjoyable time was had (by all) and thank you Ramesh for making possible.

Nice report Luke. Sorry I missed it Ram. I was keeping the thought of coming down open in my mind on Sunday while catching up on some yard work and outdoor cleaning up (I have to do all the house and yard chores as she's away). Emptying and cleaning the turtle pond took a couple hours and before I knew it it was after 4 PM so I cancelled the plan. Don't worry... as you said, we'll be down before year end (hopefully long before). I have to wire my cars to easily switch between analog and digital. I really wanted to bring down my Slot.It Challenge car to run since its working quite well at present. Hopefully next time.
