Proposed IROC Special Event

Hello Gordon and others,

Presently there are 3 IROC classes raced at FRC ...

The MGT - MC - NSS classes, where in each class a driver races (a sequence of 6 times) each car on the grid once. Even though in the MGT event, there's a particular order for it to be done ...

How about this suggestion for an upcoming Special (Opening and Main) Event.

• Non-Regulars IROC competition - MC Cars
  Regulars IROC competition - MGT ... including the NSS cars.

Plus ~ here's examples of 2 new racing formats to choose from with the MGT (including NSS) cars ...

• Cars to Race ~ 2 FTC, 2 PC, 1 LS & 1 NSS
  Cars to Race ~ 1 FTC, 1 PC, 2 LS & 2 NSS

Where as each driver now race with 4 types of cars/rpms ... and in whichever strategic order.

Okay then Gordon ... seems another IROC idea gently brushed aside.

Although - not making it a problem because it is what it is ..! Most of you'll competing are in favour of the Non-IROC classes which is definitely not the case with me ... I have always been recommending (and pushing) IROC events and yet the Non-IROC classes always out shadow these type of racing cars.

Nonetheless - you still often hear from other racers how IROC events are very entertaining.

At FRC events - checked 10 categories so far of IROC racing ...

1. Porsche Cup
2. Lambo Series
3. Ferrari Team Challenge
4. Mini Challenge
5. Mixed GT (PC, LS & FTC)
6. Ferrari "WET" Challenge
7. Mixed GT (PC, LS & FTC) Teams
8. Nissan GT-R Super Series
9. Scalextric GT Challenge
10. Vintage Sports (Gordon's car collection)

... if and when an 11th. type (or even any of the listed) can be raced, hope I still have that loving feeling.
