RACE REPORT #235 - Jul 6th 2017 (RC, SC, F1)
Despite threatening rain whilst prepping the track for the evening's event, the clouds cleared and competition went on as usual for our Rally stages, Slot.It Challenge (for Group C cars) and Formula 1 races. With just five rally and four race entrants, grids were limited. However competition was as close as always, especially from second place down, with the usual suspect taking the lion's share of victories once again.
The results

Slot.It Challenge starting grid:
Formula 1 starting grid:
Congratulations to the winners.
Next event's classes: Class grouping C: Modified Production (MP), Restricted GT (RGT), Restricted LMP (RLMP) / Nissan Super Series (NSS) IROC (3 races).
As usual, don't forget to see the updated fastest times for the FRC classes to know what the benchmarks are for your cars, the updated class average qualifying times and the updated fastest times for 2017.
See you on the circuit...

Great night of racing as usual at FRC. I really enjoyed this event, despite the small driver turnout. Congrats to Ramesh on winning all classes raced and, of course, taking the overall victory.
Looking forward to the next event !

Hello Gordon and others ~ the racing results looking like it turned out AOK and it may have seemed like I abandon this event and must let you'll know it wasn't my intention. Now even though I was the second person to show up but then went to get some Chinese food (dinner) @ KamWah ... and afterwards return. I some how got a change of heart and sent you a text message that I decided to go home instead. Wondered if you saw message (in that moment) but sure you did later and probably figured out I'm not coming back ... anyway sorry if I disappointed anyone.
On a personal note Gordon ~ my thoughts isn't (so much) on slotcar racing but rather on recent and important life racing changes ... In other words, need to make certain adjustments (moving around) for love ones
Sure you and the rest of guys will understand,
Luke

Hi Luke,
I did see you driving off as I was parking and wondered why. Certainly can understand the call of the KamWah food but sorry you decided not to return. Hope you can organize the other more important issues soon so as to be able to more regularly attend FRC race meetings.

You did look a bit concerned Steve and with personal new conditions ~ I will have to wait and see how things unfold.
