Hi Gordon , whats your thoughts then on MP , as you know RGT was shifted so many times as well as MP, and i felt they found their place.as we are now working to settle down on these classes ,the new RLMP will also have to go through its own dev, as a new class, we should give it a chance instead of troubling RGT AND MP.

Hi all,
my feeling is that if it boils down to a choice of having (A) RGT and RLMP cars having similar performance or (B) differentiating performance by slowing down the RGT cars, I'd go for (A). I would only have to now develop and re-motor one car. I'm really not up to having to do this for more than this which would be the case if we go and fiddle with the RGT specs. Let's leave RLMP as is in the latest regs.

The most important question to me however, is when next will we be racing.

I agree with Steve

We have
Two 18K Classes (F1 HS)
Three 21.5K Classes (SC APC RC)
One 22.5k Class (VS)
Three 23.5K Classes (MP RGT RLMP)

We could look at spreading it out a bit with a max of two per K class

Just a thought

Hello all,

Sorry and cannot attend racing tonight.

I need to care for parents at this time of the evening, especially into the night.

Thanks for understanding,

Luke

Obrie i am agreement with a slight rpm change may be up to 25T OR 26 T RPM IN RLMP.this will put it faster than RGT and safe with USD RULE.Lets see how it all works as we are all in this for our enjoyment so far its looks like us four.

Agreed!
"We suck it and see" as an old slot car enthusiast of times past would say.
He is my father in law Allan Scott Fleming now sloting with the big boys some years now.

See you tonight.

Guys, speaking with Ramesh yesterday, we feel that increasing the RLMP motor RPM specs to 26K is a reasonable compromise to have some differentiation from RGT. Here's a list of 24K to 26K motors from the Slot Car News Motors list:

That's over 40 motors to choose from.

What do you think? Shall we settle on this?
