FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (27th April) for our 2017 Group C classes with one exception - instead of the Scalextric GT Challenge IROC class, we're running a special no-magnet "Formula Libre" class (3 races), Rally Car (3 stages of avg of 6 cars), Slot.It Challenge (3 races).
Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
- Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
- 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
- Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
- Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
- After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
- Formula Libre No-Magnet - Any non-open-wheel (full-bodied) car; no magnets; no high magnet-effect motors.
- Rally Car - If visible, interior must have both driver and navigator figures (heads minimum); no traction magnets; "Magnet-effect" motors are not allowed.
- Slot.It Challenge - Group C Slot.It cars only; single standard Slot.It "non-race" magnet (the one with the grooves); Slot.It tyres.
Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.
