Thanks guys , but what i was seeing was two 1st places and a second place is better than two second places and one 1st place. I know the overall tabulation gives the overall win to Luke B. because of the amount of wins in MC . but i was only looking at the podium finishes in the three casses .I do appreciate the explanations thanks for the time taken.

Guys,

It was great to be back at FRC.
Also a lot or reading here for this race report.. I believe the stats that Gordon produced are correct, however I also believe that the 2 1st position and the 2 place is better than the 2 2nd and 1 1st
Place.
So I believe there are both correct. What I would say those are the rules and we have been racing like this for many years.

On Ramesh point I understand and think it is one that should be examined. I am glad it happened to Ramesh and LukeB.
If this happened to me I would have felt slighted.
I think we could relook it as class winner and give points per class, since all classes don't have the same amount of races.
Gordon was that Carib Stock a Class?

Same points as per race for the class.
This is just a suggestion.
I don't believe anyone wants this to happen to them Especially if they would have been beating The Professor.
Would love to hear from others.

Hi guys, good to here your comments Arden, it should also be considered that a person can win all six MC races get 1st place points and do not compete in any of the other classes for the night and get the champion driver award. Lets think about it.

Gordon,

Interesting concerns but ... concerning the (very detailed) results score sheet.
  • What is the Alt Points (numbers in blue) column about :?:
I tried all how to figure it out and couldn't - so I just had to ask.

Luke, the Alt (Alternative) Points refers to using the alternative point system mentioned in my post.

Guys, the Champion Driver award was simply an accumulation of points for the races and classes each driver drove for the event. It basically recognises the achievement. Perhaps we should abandon it and just do class points. Either that or base it on wins only.

It was a class and series separate from TTASA.

Here are the winning drivers for this event:

If we were to base the Champion Driver on most wins there would be a tie.

Hi all,
as far as I'm concerned, for Champion Driver Of The Night, the results should be based on the total races run. Simple. As it already is. At the last event, we had twelve races (three Rally, three Slot.it and six Mini). The winning driver was determined by the driver who got the most points from those twelve races. Let's not go re-inventing the wheel.
