Hello Gordon and other slotcar enthusiasts,

Sorry but due to the present state of escalating crime (in the day as well as the night) with the entire country ... I won't be attending racing on Thursday night. I am very sorry for posting this type of news on the forum and just wanted everyone to know one time ...

Again it is plain to see crime (at all levels) is out of control in T&T and my spirit has been guiding me (continuously) staying at home in the night is the best way to deal with this situation. At least in the night ... the day is a whole different plan of action.

Now mind you - I had to dig deep to write this "don't care to hear" news but its just how I feel and for as long as I know myself ~ I tend to listen to that still and gentle voice in my head.

Through the years I have benefited from it tremendously and have always given thanks ...

Okay then fellas - looking like this is true because I did have a change of heart by Thursday.

I happened to be chatting with Ramesh and David (boo) on Wednesday and Thursday respectively and strange enough - they both mentioned something (the same point) which I found was too much of a coincidence. I need not get in to the nitty gritty but it somehow did the trick - me changing my mind.

So I will be at FRC's first event for 2017

I have to go get ready now because below ~ it's about that time ..!
