FRC 2017 Racing Calendar Schedule
Re: FRC 2017 Racing Calendar Schedule
A forecast full of interest Gordon,
Looking back at FRC 2016 racing groups and how it just managed to make 4 rounds of (A to E) racing but was planned to stop off at group B ... in December same year.
In 2017 with a new rounds of well thought out racing groups - I would like to put forward/recommend - FRC racing re-start at group C - being suitable for a continuous racing role and this time should make a grand 6 rounds of (A to D) racing groups ... in December same year.
Here's a scheduled forecast - starting off with group C. and the dates listed ...

I guess we'd all like to know what groups the letters mean.

Luke, were you referring to my proposed class groupings here?Luke wrote:I would like to put forward/recommend - FRC racing re-start at group C - being suitable for a continuous racing role and this time should make a grand 6 rounds of (A to D) racing groups ... in December same year.

A:
MGT IROC / NSS IROC (Avg of 6 races)
MP (3 races)
RGT (3 races)
(12 races total)
B:
HS (3 races)
APC (3 races)
VS (3 races)
(9 races total)
C:
MC IROC / SGTC IROC (Avg of 6 races)
RC (3 stages of avg of 6 cars)
SC (3 races)
(12 "races" total)
D:
F1 (3 races)
GT (3 races)
LMP (3 races)
(9 races total)
In each group, I've arranged the classes so that they generally go from slowest to fastest.
Enjoy the day,
Luke
Re: FRC 2017 Racing Calendar Schedule
I personally like starting the year at the top with group A, but if the majority prefer to start at group C, I'll go along with that.
Re: FRC 2017 Racing Calendar Schedule
I agree with Gordon on starting with Group A.
