FRC Class Introduction Dates

Post by gordon »

Since starting to record official results at FRC in 2009 when there was only one class for all comers named "Formula Libre", we have seen the introduction of a number of new classes over time. In all, we have run races for 42 categories (classes) to date, although some of these were one-off competitions. Its quite interesting to see how our long-running "foundation" classes came about relative to one-another (highlighted with red arrows), so here's the sequence in which all our classes have evolved over the years:

This spreadsheet is showing how addictive slotcar racing can be and how the the hobbie has grown from strength to strength with such facilities like FRC and TSCC circuits (to name a few) being around through the years.

Great efforts with the 5 (PC, MGT, HS, F1 & FC) Group-N classes ...
