Racing this Thursday (6th October)

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (6th October) for our Group D classes, Modified Production - 3 races @ 30 laps, F1 - 5 races @ 30 laps.

Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
  • Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see the 2016 class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

Will be there for sure.
Not sure what type of car the white one in the Mod.Prod.photo is but, next to it, the Mini seems so big, and this model (2 door) is the smallest of the current crop of Minis.

For the fun of it ... Here is my shot to what type car it is even though don't know what model but there is Renault symbol (smack dab in the middle) at the back of the vehicle and for a one shot one kill phrase - it looks like a Clio hatchback ;)

How's that for a hit and miss answer?

Luke your eyes are really good to see a Renault logo on that car. I definitely cannot see it ! I think the car could be a Seat or an MG but I don't think it's a Renault.

Thanks Gordon and Steve,

I see relatively well (thanks to my Heavenly Father) for my age but must let you know Steve, it was really my thumb and middle fingers that assisted me with this observation ;-)
