Racing this Thursday 19th May

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (19th May) for our revised Group A classes, Mixed GT IROC - 6 races @ 20 laps, Restricted GT - 3 races @ 30 laps.

Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
  • Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see the 2016 class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

Reality Checks

See you on the circuit...

The suggestion with FRC A and C class groupings exchanging positions - is an exciting one indeed and I will certainly make sure I dont miss this Hit it Big event :D

Guys,

I know that some of the Mixed GT IROC cars are not working but I don't have time to test and repair them. All of them can also do with a light servicing. If any of you north boys have the time to do any of this, please contact me to arrange.

Okay Gordon - I will see about the 997 cars and would it be possible to collect them at your store (Maraval) tomorrow?

Hopefully before 12 noon ...

Hello Gordon,

I would like to suggest other than testing all IROC cars ... at this evening event.

That No Practise be done with any of these 18 cars.

That's a novel approach Luke, but I'd be willing to go along with it.
