OK Guys,

Here are pics of some of the cars eligible for our new (yet to be run) Vintage Sports class. Which one are you going to get?

The MRRC Porsche 904, Chaparral 2A and Cooper-Ford (Shelby King Cobra) are basically the same as their Revell-Monogram equivalents so those reviews apply.

Although the class is defined as a "stock out the box" class, once we have some cars to run we can "massage" the rules to even-out things as necessary. The main thing is to replicate the look of the cars (one major factor being the wheel and tyre dimensions) and to ensure that lap times are within about a half second of one another.

Gordon,

The Lola T-70 is the car I purchased last week to run in the new Vintage Sports class. I like th fact that it is a side winder mounted motor, so that should be some technical advantage there.

Will we be running stock motors in this class?

Regards,

Peter

Peter,

So far, yes... stock motors. I'll e-mail you some info on how I set mine up. Also, I'll e-mail an update on the Slot.It Audi. A bit busy this week with my office move, but will send the e-mails ASAP.
