Racing this Thursday 17th March

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (17th March) for our new Group B classes, Historic Saloon - 3 races @ 25 laps, Vintage Sports '60-'75 - 3 races @ 25 laps, Slot.It Challenge - 3 races @ 25 laps.

Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
  • Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see the 2016 class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

Please indicate in the poll above whether or not you'll be attending. You may change this as many times as you like up to the event date.

Will be there for sure. Love the assortment of cars in the Historic Saloon photo. Cortinas seem to be the favoured car but there are also Alfa Romeo Giulias, BMW 2002s (or 1602s), Minis, Ford Anglias and Fairlanes. Not an Escort in sight ! Would be nice to see this type of assortment at FRC .
