FRC and TSCC 2015 Events ...‏

Hey Ramesh and Arden,

I would like to put forward an idea about this upcoming TSCC special event.

• Thursday 16th. July 2015 - SW Stock & Mercedes-Benz DTM "Club Class" Racing.

Instead of the regular SW Stock cars as the opening event, why not use FRC's SGTC IROC cars as a first timer for a TSCC event ..?

All you'll will need to do is reinstall the non-digital DPR blanks for each car to race analogue and maybe some silicone tyres if need be ...

Sure in this way with these two sets - SGTC IROC and Mercedes-Benz DTM Club Class - of sponsored race cars, it may encourage other persons to come and have a go at this new double feature racing.

Also, no sort of extra effort to restart the normal TSCC Group 1 (SW Stock and GT Modified) racing at the following event.

Hi All,

... Update was done to the top of page one for the month of August ..!

Instead of the regular (2 each) TSCC & FRC events for the month of August ... TSCC will be hosting 4 events, due to their huge amount of young and not so young alike racing participants.

All the same, FRC will be still hosting their 2 regular events for the same month but have to say though - sure all will be in suspense for TSCC (27th. August) FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT - New Cars Sponsored by BHOLA'S MOTOR WORKS

For me, its a thrill recording these events and hindsight would have it with this FRC and TSCC 2015 Events post ... See how much slotcar activity is taking place through the year in the north and south of the island ...

On another "north and south" note - I often hear you (and Arden) making a witty remark why you don't see us "north guys" as much ...

• It seems north guys need to take an airplane to come down south.

My explanation/excuse is the rush hour traffic heading out of Port of Spain - so my plan of action is leaving the office at 4:30 (for the latest) and not going home but heading straight down south. All in time for TSCC evening of slotcar racing.

Anyway - letting you know now, looking forward to visiting TSCC this coming Thursday

A request from Ramesh ~ notifying all Slot Car Racers:

TSCC in Marabella is having an unscheduled racing event on (this) Sunday 23rd. August @ 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Classes are LMP and F1 cars (20K & 18K rpm motors respectively).

All races per driver - are 20 laps by 6 Lanes ...

There will also by an extra sponsored class (GT stock SW) for the younger ones present - so all are invited.

I had to make a slight change to the racing itinerary (top of page 1.) for this coming Sunday ~ TSCC Grand month end Event with GT Modified ...

Its now a LMP class.

• TSCC Event ...... Sunday 30th. August 2015 ~ Grand (4 Classes) Event:
  
  SW Stock / LMP Motors 20K rpm / AM Modified and AMG Mercedes DTM IROC Class.

This scheduled special event in Marabella starts @ 1:00pm - Till ...

I attended the last 2 TSCC events and there were racing drivers (of all ages) in their numbers and expecting nothing short of 30 people for this grand event

Personally taking part in the recent SW and LMP races ~ I already have race tuned cars and just have to go tune a muscle (AM Modified) car for this event

So ~ Come & have a GO @ ANALOG RACING in Sando

Gordon and all others at FRC,

It's about 6 years and 5 months - FRC been having fixed numbered racing events and sure all will be glad to see the Grand 200th. figure upon us

Here's a list of how much months went by for the first 50 events & every other after ~ 200 in total @ FRC ...

  • 051 - 100 Events ................. Wednesday 2nd. June 2010 ............ Thursday 19th. May 2012 .............................. 23 months.
  • 101 - 150 Events ................. Thursday 31st. May 2012 ............... Thursday 5th. December 2013 ....................... 19 months.
  • 151 - 200 Events ................ Thursday 12th. December 2013 ....... Thursday 17th. September 2015 .................... 21 months.

Know I could have called you'll but picked the forum to find out and for others to be updated - about TSCC racing event this week ...

Is it going to be the regular Thursday which is a public holiday or day before which is today - Wednesday 23/9/2015

Also, checking if the 2 classes are ...

• 1. GT ...... Modified/Free RPM
  2. F1 ....... Stock/FF 18K RPM

... which I remember being said by Ramesh last week Thursday @ FRC.

BTW - hope you'll don't mind how I made this request so documented
