Following Procedures ...

Post by Luke »

GG ~ This should be a written update in Blue ... somewhere in the Regs.

The normal & simple procedures (with persons involved) going about a racing infringement on one's car during a race are ...

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

When calling a Drive-Through ... on a car (you must see) that caused this violation.

Person/s must identify: the color, number or driver of the car - otherwise this will have to be considered as - A Racing Incident ...

When taking a Stop & Go Penalty ... in order (to be seen) it was served when going about this procedure.

Person/s must say: Drive Through Taken - otherwise this will have to be recognized as - Your Penalty wasn't taken ..!

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Trying to help with, keeping it simple for all to enjoy - "Going for GOLD" - while racing :D

Good suggestion Luke. I've added them to the General Competition Regulations.

Hi all,
rules state that a Drive-Through may be called by the victim of such drive-through or by an assigned steward. Can it be called by another competitor not involved in the actual incident ? This could come into play by the victim and transgressor agreeing to 'let the incident pass' but the drive -through, if taken, having a bearing on the positions of other drivers in the race.

Steve, I understand your point but I feel this decision should be between the two drivers involved.
