Time Out

Post by Luke »

Hello GG,

How are you going?

When you wrote - "let me step back a moment ..." remember :?: I didnt think you meant you taking the whole week-end ... :)

I called (phone) you Wednesday evening and got - no answer no reply which isnt like you, no probs it wasnt that important anyway. I was just going to ask if I can pass by to test my Ninco cars with the magnet marshall ...

Guess this (B2B holiday) long week-end was an ideal time for you to take a big T/O from "us slotcar racing guys" because didnt even see your regular e-mail with the F1 schedule. Anyway, did see your boy Hamilton drive with all he's got to try and cross the finishing line first in the Austrian GP race and glad to let you know, my holiday from work starts today ..!

Hope you had a Good One this long week-end gone :D

Luke you hit the nail on the head... I needed a "time-out" and did so over the 4-day weekend, not even touching a slot car! I also needed some rest as my back injury (which happened since the night we last raced) was really giving me beans, but its improved a lot in the past three days. It was also a great time to watch the Austrian GP and generally do family things. After this break, I'm looking forward to racing again this week :)
