Re: FRC 2-Hours Endurance Event Regulations
Hi Gordon,
re penalties, as the objective is to complete as many laps as possible in the allotted time, shouldn't laps be subtracted rather than added to the offending car ?

Thanks for pointing out my error Steve. What you said is what is intended. I'll fix the document and upload it tomorrow.
Re: FRC 2-Hours Endurance Event Regulations
GG,
In this case (type of race) and taking all things into consideration - maybe the "objective" should be mentioned with the regs ...
Example: Race Length/Objective:
Looking it over - its not too clear how to go about for a win, because one may/could very well think which comes first - time or laps ..?
Knowing you have lots to write - so here's taking in front ...
How this looking Race Length/Objective:
The race will be of two hour's (approx. 1,200 laps of FRC) duration. The SSDC RMS will keep track of the cars and the objective is ... (I'm still not too sure what happens after/when the first car crosses the finish line) & a (what size?) monitor will be displayed to allow everyone to follow the race.
Hope I made it easy to understand, my take on this.
