FRC's next Special Event..?

I take the initiative here but of course "at the end of the day" its your call

As you know, FRC just did its 142nd. event & 8 more to make the 150th. benchmark of racing SSD 132 slotcars.

There's 14 more Thursdays (starting 26/9) to finish 2013 and im quite sure/feel we may not hit all 14 Thursdays - I think FRC's 150th event could/may well end off this year's racing...

So how about a special event like the first in 2009 or even last year's 2012 with the kids race

What do you think ~ there will be more than enough time to plan.

Great idea Luke. Any suggestions for the type of races we should run?

Guys, use the comments to suggest the race types and classes you'd like to run as a year-end special event. Here are a few that come to mind:

• Endurance for VS, RGT and SC (like the last one we had).
• Mixed GT team race with teams of 2 drivers.
• Kids race (for sure).
• Rally stages.

We can mix a few different ones eg. Kids, Mixed GT, Rally.

Great idea Luke. An endurance-type event would certainly be fitting. I also like the idea of racing multiple cars in the same class (similar to the way we did VS the last time) but we would need to ensure that drivers have more than 1 car in the same class. I think Mixed HS would be interesting. What about a rally car race (as opposed to individual stage times) where, due to slower lap times distance could be restricted to say 12 or 15 laps ?
