Class average qualifying times

Post by gordon »

Guys,

The following report lists the average qualifying times by class, fastest to slowest. In compiling this any times below 3.899 sec and over 9.999 sec were ignored.

Thought you'd find it of interest.

I'm surprised that the average Porsche Cup time is slower than Historic Saloon.

Steve, the next time we decide to qualify the Porsches the times will probably be lower as they perform better with the trued tyres. This will lower their average times.

Gordon,

You do not have any guide in fastest time or average time for RAlly.

G M Arden,

I think its because of these 2 main reasons and hope Gordon dont mind I'm letting you know why... :)

1. Qualifying isnt done in the Rally Car Events.
2. Plus, they wont doing sub 10 seconds per lap @ the time.

You may have also noticed no times are posted in Fastest Q/Times chart, its because those times are single lap times.

Remember in the Rally Class Events its 3 stages x 5 laps per driver and i think GG will let you know more from a apple computer program point :D

Have a blessed day and see yuh later,

Luke, you've explained it very well. No need for an Apple computer point of view :)

Gordon,

You can have an average race time ie check one race all competitors. You dont have a qualifing time but it will be a guide as to the average class time for the 5laps. You can do the same and post the fastest race time per 5laps.

Class. Average lap time
Rally. 53 (5laps)

Same can be done for fastest time.

Lets hear from Steve.

Arden - Why all the fuss with this and that for rally car lap times.

You know for awhile there, I thought you wanted to SLAP something or somebody. hehehe

You have some kind of new rally car/time you working on for Steve A... or what?

Hope you noticed we now have a new Steve on the forum :D

Yes,

You know I told you that. I want to have a fast time too.

Actually I was checking to see the time and did not see anything. I think we could have something as a guide.

Arden,

You behaving like Steve A. in HS class, when he very well knew he came 5th. showing on the PB and saying he see he came 4th. because written down wrong on CB  :o :?

I also told you what times the rally cars were doing, when you asked me? Why you giving GG all that "double" work for?

If you want such a fast time & have to see as a guide... R/Report #136 - Wed.31st. July'13. could help, those were the fastest times done in RC class so far.

BTW - FYI When next you ask me a question 'bout 1/32 slot cars or FRC and I give you an answer - know that it is worth its weight in gold okay :D
