Racing tomorrow Thursday 10th June

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice from around 6:30 PM tomorrow, followed by qualifying and racing. Scheduled classes are GT and F1. Remember our timetable:
  • 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM - Open practice
  • 8:30 PM - 8:55 PM - Qualifying in 5 min sessions by class (up to 6 drivers per session)
  • 8:55 PM - 9:00 PM - Computing grid positions and setting car IDs (controllers)
  • 9:00 PM  - Racing starts

Gordon - I'm good to go with Thursday night racing and congrats on your new iPad...Its a fine piece of high tech equiptment you have their. It also looks like you are enjoying the use of it to the fullest.

Question:

Could qualifying with the F1 class be done with the old method?
(Single driver best time of 3 laps)
These cars could DNS with a single crash (as we all know) in qualies...

Luke,

I have no problem with that once we don't get kept back. Our rules allow for it (Method 1).
