What should we try to even-out cars in our VS class?

Revert the Scalextric GT40 to the original magnet configuration (2mm) - requires opening the car to inspect.

FOR THE TIME ,ALL RATIOS REMAINS INLINE 9/27 AND SW 11/36. BUT COMPONENTS MAY CHANGE, LETS GIVE IT A GO, RAMESH

My Slot.It GT40 came with 11/32 (2.91:1).

HI GORDON ,IS IT OK TO USE ANY RATIO COMBINATION IN THE VS CLASS? I AM OK ANY WAY , AS YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN IN MY TWO PREVIOUS POSTS. THANKS, RAMESH.

Ramesh, at the moment, the way the rule is written, you can run any gear ratio.

Whenever preparing cars it's always a good idea to refer to the regulations for the classes you are preparing the cars for.

I often do just that to ensure that my cars take advantage of what's allowed, yet are legal for what's not.
