RACE REPORT #132 - JUNE 26TH 2013

Arden and Ramesh added to the enjoyment of our 132nd event by bringing along some delicious Indian food which everyone partook of with much enthusiasm. The classes for the event comprised six rounds of Lambo Series racing (where everyone drove each car at each controller station), along with five furiously-fast F1 races.

The official activities began just after 8:00PM with qualifying for the LS cars, immediately followed by their races. In both classes there were seven drivers with just six available grid positions, so for each race one driver became an extra marshall. There was a lot of excitement mixed with hectic racing, all interspersed with a substantial serving of loud shouting - clear indication that racing at FRC is anything but boring.

Between the great food and the action on the track, it was a memorable event.

Great event, and made even more special by the wonderful food provided by Ramesh and Arden. Thanks a lot fellas ! There was some very tight racing but, in the end , if yuh weren't named Luke, yuh didn't have a chance as Luke and Luke B. won the 2 classes raced. Congrats to both and to Luke B. for the overall win as well as that blistering F1 lap record.
Have a good trip Gordon !
