Discussion result re: HS, VS and RGT class regulations

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

Having met and discussed the points raised in this post, the following was decided:
  1. Regulations will revert to what they were prior to this topic being raised with the exception that in the Vintage Sports class, cars with an MRRC "Sebring" chassis have the option of running two standard magnets in the two standard positions on the chassis.
  2. A new set of fastest lap standards for our Stock and Restricted-Modification classes will be compiled starting with yesterday's (27th March, 2013) event.
  3. At all events from yesterday onwards, any car which breaks the new fastest lap record standard in qualifying will be immediately examined and, if found to be in breach of the class regulations, will not be eligible to race in that condition. Likewise, the winning car in these classes will be examined for legality directly after the final class race. Any car not complying will be relegated to last place and its driver given the ignominious "Bobolee" award.
The class regulations have been updated to reflect the changes mentioned.

Gordon ~ A Discussion well Resolved..!

Thanks to your persistence for all racers to enjoy FRC's "Slot Car Racing" Competitions ~ It helped to come up with a very fair & consistent conclusion.

132 Slot car "builds" couldnt get any eaiser to understand :)

Also, thanks to Arden "aka - South Boy" for making all his helpful contributions.
