Hi Guys,
Check out these pics of a new Slot.It AWD Audi R18 coming out later this year:
That's a notched belt drive we're looking at, not one that will slip!
AWD in our LMP class... hmmm...

Very interesting ! I suspect though, that the AWD helps more in low/no-magnet cars than in very heavily magnetized cars which this probbably is.

As successful as the Audi R18 is, I think that it is one of the ugliest race cars around !

Luke, I know I wear glasses to see long -distances and no, I didn't see the R18 'in real' at Le Mans , but I've seen enough photos and videos of it to still find that it is ugly !
That Pendle track is interesting but I prefer the look of FRC: more realistic with all the greenery. The cars must run really high gearing so as to not burn out the motors on those long straights. High gearing would also lead so lower acceleration, especially out of some of those very tight corners .
