Fernando Alonso has never won this race yet but he's on the grid second row in third position & is good to go (2nd. place in the championship) for the last race of this year...

I wish he pulls off a victory here with his great & clever driving skills, leaving a tidy "off season" chirstmas message for the SV/RB team for 2014..!

For me - the F1 2013 season was somewhat dull (maybe to the 2nd. half) because of one man with 8 straight wins and we all know in life, to much of anything isnt good for anyone.

So I would say - Enough is enough... ent

Glad to see Fernando on the podium for qualifying (his equal best for the year). Hope he converts it into some points tomorrow. Would also like to see Felipe do well in his last home race for Ferrari.

Vettel and Red Bull seem to be untouchable. Even the wet made no difference to his dominance in Q3, so I suspect he will probably win tomorrow provided wet conditions don't throw a spanner in the works for him. I would really like to see him get better competition from the other top drivers in the wet conditions, Rosberg amd Alonso being in the best position to make this happen.

When I was in Austin, a friend of mine from the UK who himself has raced there mentioned that it is believed that Red Bull have found a way to get back traction control but the FIA can't find out how, so the car is legal until proven otherwise. He said that Weber opted not to have the technology in his car. He also said that Hamilton mentioned that he and the other drivers cannot put the power down exiting the corners like Vettel. The cars only weigh 1200 lbs and have around 800 BHP, so they struggle to come out of corners without causing wheelspin and the resultant slide, but Vettel appears not to have that problem.

If this is true, that would explain his dominance.

So if this is true GG - You will have to wonder why Webber would make a decision not to have this technology in his car right..? Suppose we may never know or maybe Mark himself, could say why one good day...

I have been an F1 fan ever since 2000 & know you too, way before me - I have never missed looking or finding out how a F1 race went down since then (13 yrs.) but found myself not doing so (8 out of maybe 249 races...) more recently. Sure you see what I mean with the F1 2013 season being somewhat dull & this didnt just happen overnight you know... I could get carried away here with what caused this monotomy but wont bother

Although, I'm sure you will agree with me that Webber has always been a great (every sense of the word) overall F1 driver in so much as his first race in 2002. I have always seen him as a F1 driver who gives to the sporting fans with interviews & driving move where others have made a mess...

This F1 season/race being his last - Glad if he gets his 3rd Brazilian victory and F1 won't be the same without him.
