Cars to be displayed at races

Hi all,
Gordon some time ago suggested a Concours d'Elegance for cars racing at FRC events. I had another idea for non-racing cars however, inspired by a lovely Fly GT40 that Neverson brought with him at the last event. My thinking is that several of us I'm sure, have nice cars which for one reason or another , are not raced at FRC. It may be that the cars are very difficult to chip (eg. vintage Scalextric F1 cars), have no class to race in or are considered just too pretty or valuable to get damagein cases d in our fiercely competitive digital racing.
I think it would be great to see some of each others' cars and would like to suggest some kind of display every week where we could bring cars in cases or otherwise just for others to see There would be no points involved and would be strictly for interest. Maybe if any of the cars are chipped, they could be given a few laps (with no other FRC racers on the track) for everyone to see the them in action.
Any thoughts ?
