Gordon,

How about having the Mini "IROC" Challenge go with the Modified Production class for a next (FRC race night) grouping..?

Here is how the class groupings will look...

Luke,
this would mean that the newly proposed class would now have to find another group to be attached to. I believe that Gordon was suggesting the Minis could be paired with the new class.

Steve,

I kind of knew that but I am looking at a bigger picture...

Yes (sure you noticed) it will take it to 6 groupings and that classes will take a little more time to come around but think of it - This means there will be a fixed number of races (9 per person) in every grouping and a better time factor/benefit for packing up FRC afterwards... It could also give guys a bit more time to set up their cars between these racing groups.

 How about, when we have this new proposed 1970's class ready - it could be attached to groups like Lambo "IROC" Series or the Mini "IROC" Challenge... Just like now the Mod Prod class is presently.

Who knows?

Maybe we will have a new IROC class 2 attach it 2 and will take FRC racing to 7 (the perfect number of) groupings :o :D 8-)

Luke,

I like your suggestion. Maybe we can actually have an IROC open-wheel/single-seater class after all, but with some "high-resistant" cars. Let me look into it. Then we'll have a 7th pairing - G5SC and SS.
