RACING vs CLEANING

Post by Luke »

This Thursday coming could/will make it five weeks "on the trot" off the digital hand throttles @ FRC :(

 But I used this time to clean/service my "flooded muddy water" collection of slot cars, spares, tracks & borders :D

FYI ~ for those of you who dont know ~ Its PLENTY :!:

The time with the cars & spares (not finish all yet) was some very long and meticulous work... The tracks was very painstaking and haven't even touch the borders yet, other than put them in 2 clothes baskets... I am nowhere near finish with tracks because its a daunting task by itself. I have to wash/scrub off the dry mud, put to air dry and then spray them with CRC 2-26 (recommended by Arden and CRC supplied by him and Steve ~ thanks guys) and thats just for starters because this process is only to stop the rails from rusting anymore

The hardest part is, I still have to find the zeal & time with an idea "simple solution" to clean all those rusted rails and wondering if its worthwhile doing that too

Anyway, could go on & on but guess you all got the picture :|

BTW ~ Thanks again for the help from GG, O'Brie and all those who offered too :)

Sure sounds like a mighty task Luke, but little by little it'll get done.
