To whom it Concern,
Regards to the Scalextric model (F1 "2000" McLaren) car I was working on (last race night) with a Slot It SP type 21K RPM motor instead of the stock SP type 18K RPM motor and was softly asked if that was legal because it was thought/supposed to be the stock 18K RPM motor...
That's the 18K RPM FF type motors.
The FRC rules/regs changes from time to time and a rule back in the day when F1, A1 and Indy cars was racing together most of us found out/know now that the cars with the 18K SP motors could not keep up with the 18K FF motors...
Henceforth a rule (back in the day) was made that only the Slot It SP type 21K RPM motor could be used to compete with the FF 18K type MOTORS
From who's letting you know
