I started this project (info history) a few weeks ago ... with these classes raced (over time) at FRC
FRC IROC Events (RR63 to RR233) was first kicked off - January 2011 to May 2017 ... and Returned May 2022 / RR297 ...
A collection of photos (which were already posted individually) during their respective time frame by Gordon ... & now, all in One Place
Here are pics of the different IROC classes (plus amount of events) in their relevant order:
Porsche Cup ... 19 Events and a link ... https://www.frcforum.com/viewtopic.php? ... p=309#p309 ... from 2010 history.
Lambo Series ... 16 Events and the 6 models presented to the host of Digital Slot-car Racing as a 2011 Birthday Gift from all the racing guys
Ferrari Team Challenge ... 7 Events ...
Ferrari Team Challenge ... and same cars later on as Ferrari Challenge ... 4 Events ... plus 2 Events NonMag in 2022.
Mini Challenge ... 17 Events ...
Mini Challenge - Action ... racing incident - RD227
Scalextric GT Challenge ... 6 Events ... and a personal 6-car racing collection sponsored by yours truly
Scalextric GT Challenge ...
Scalextric GT Challenge ... & models viewed with right & left slants
Scalextric GT Challenge ... Starting Grid - RD208
Scalextric GT Challenge ... Starting Grid - RD217 Note: Car No.1 body was changed form Yellow to Red color.
Nissan Super Series ... 7 Events & Starting Grid - RD219
Nissan Super Series ... plus an AWESOME paint job done in Yellow on the (originally Grey) No.4 Nissan GT-R car by Ramesh
Mixed GT Challenge ... 11 Events & raced - https://www.frcforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1076 - with a combination of 18 slot-cars (3 Sets x 6 FC, PC & LS)
Vintage Sport ... 1 Special Event with these 8 slot-cars (all setup for racing) by Gordon Gonsalves & his Prized & Personal Collection
Had to included my personal 6-Car Analog IROC Class of (2 F430 Ferraris, 2 Porsche 997s & 2 Lamborghini Gallardos) model cars
Also, for the record: The Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange & (painted) Purple models - were all chosen to indicate / represent the Lane Color on the Scalextric RMS Lap Counting/Timing screen
On a closing note - all these slot-cars (again I mention) carried a great amount of Racing Competition & Entertainment through out the years
