A long-time friend who lives in the UK sent this to me in an email. Its an old memory from the year 2000 (20 years ago!) of probably the first official Carib Stock Car race, where I went from 14th to finish first in the wet 12-lapper (it begins at 1:02 in the video):

I remembered some time ago (maybe in 2010) when you asked me to purchase an item for FRC at Blare Electrical in St. James ...
Understand (more so now) why that guy named Hunt (standing close by) in same store, looked at me so strange years ago
Especially when he heard me say to put Gordon Gonsalves name on the invoice.
As though your name was probably still clinging to his memory for such a grand victory
