Guys, check out this beautifully crafted 1930s Alfa Romeo P3 slot car (don't get confused by the Ferrari logo - this was when Enzo ran the Alfa Romeo racing team before he started making his own cars). The car is modelled after the one driven by the great Tazio Nuvolari, one of the fastest drivers ever.
The level of detail is unbelievable. Here's a close-up:
Imagine painting that in 1/32 scale! There's not a single smudge. Even the driver figure is modelled after Nuvolari and is made by Immense Miniatures. Compare this real picture of him to the one on the slot car:

I would love to be able to paint a car at this level of detail and skill. Maybe as we evolve our scratch-built class we'll start seeing some more detail being put into them!
