Now reading that three riders have succumbed to their injuries from separate incidents at this year's event. This event, run on public roads, is as spectacular as it is dangerous. Very sad.

Just yesterday I mentioned to someone that every year riders die at the Isle of Man race. I didn't know that there were three deaths this year though. Its a crazy race where its not surprising that there are so many fatalities. Have a look at this list:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_S ... fatalities
255 fatalities over the years.

Hello Steve and Gordon,
First of all - Happy Father's Day.
Secondly - I hope you'll don't fancy this sort of racing?
This bike race is definitely nothing other than SHEER & UTTER MADNESS ..!
Looked at a few YouTube vids and at such speeds, saw a number of inevitable and deadly crashes. The 1 that made me stop watching was ~ when a rider at 200 mph crashed into a house! A concrete one at that as well.
It should be stopped because it's nothing other than a racing event ... glorifying suicide.
Sure you'll know where that goes from there ...
Luke

Selectively reducing the idiots from the human gene pool is probably the reason they have not stoped it yet
