Quote from Slot Racing Old School Facebook page

Post by gordon »

Quote from Slot Racing Old School Facebook page:
  • "What slots have done in your life. I mean do people realize we all come from different countries, incomes, backgrounds, social classes, lifestyle's, but the common denominator is our passion for the hobby. You know what I mean, that look in someone's eye, that sparkle, when discussing something about slots. We are a rare breed. We are family, we are blessed to have a hobby that has been around since we were all kids. I think we should show our love and passion for the hobby and each other. Without each other, this hobby would be dead. Keep slots alive and love your fellow racers."

Gordon,

This is so very true because take this for example:

Sometime ago talking to a good friend about racing slotcars and while describing racing competitions ...

All the same and unknowing to me how I was looking while talking to her ... She interrupted the conversation and said ~ I am seeing an extra brightest in your eyes Luke ..!

Need I say more ..?

Also, don't you find the type words used in that quote ~ is ones that Ramesh use (ever so often) to describe slotcar racing when he's at FRC ..?
