I'm sure that many of us have some extra time on our hands these days . Hopefully some of that will be used for cleaning and tuning of our slotcars for whenever we can return to racing at FRC. Some may be even doing a bit more than this. How about letting us know what's been going on (with, of course not divulging too many of the skunkwork secrets!) ?
In my case, I've started by looking at and tweaking where necessary the cars in the class that should have been last raced and which will hopefully be the grouping for our next meeting. These are the MP, RGT, LMP and F1 classes. I'm also considering re-engineering one or two cars for other classes which were, for one reason or other, not competitive previously and maybe, with some thought, can be made to run a bit better.

Nice slot-car work going on Steve,
Hence the reason - more so now than before - it’s important for persons to have a hobby they totally enjoy.

Yes Luke, it's good to have a hobby, especially at a time like this. Looking forward very much to seeing the cars actually perform though.
O'Brie, yes get down to it. You know that whenever you really put your mind to developing a slotcar, the results are killer !

Re: April 2020 lockdown slotcar work
Guys, I haven't touched mine since they were laid out for the last event which was cancelled. They're all still sitting on the workbench. Most of my time has been spent on programming work on two projects. Sometimes a coding problem is encountered that's a real puzzle and can take hours to solve, so the time flies on those occasions. I spent three days getting something new to work this week. This is all on my laptop, but I also have my office desktop at home dealing with the odd work-related thing. I've also been to the shop four times this week to meet customers who had pressing needs. In a way I haven't stopped working on my business.
Coming back to slot cars, I hope to spend a bit of time on them this week. I'll give an update here once I do.

So it seems like other than Gordon and his Mk 1 Cortina, nobody else is doing any slotcar work . Too busy maybe ?
